“Having never had a serious injury that prevented much movement ( a serious knee dislocation ) OR physio before,  I was hopeful and apprehensive in equal measure. Gauthier was immediately supportive, efficient, practical and personalised in his approach. As much as the physical nature of the injury, Gauthier enabled me to work on the mental struggle of fearing a repeat of the injury alongside not being able to do any physical exercise during early recovery, which for an exercise junkie was torture!

I am extremely grateful to Gauthier for all his support and excellent treatment- I began to enjoy the sessions and the hope they gave me for a sustainable and full recovery. Thank you- it was great to have met you & I thoroughly recommend your practise and supportive & enabling treatments.”

“In May-2012 I underwent C5/6 & C6/7 anterior cervical decompression and fusion operation.  The operation was successful.

Normally at the end of 1&1/2 weeks of post operation; the pain around the neck should subside & attain approx. 75% normal movement of the neck. However; this was not in my case. After 1&1/2 weeks; the pain was really bad, and I was unable to move my neck and was not able to sit down for more than 20 minute before I had to wear my headgear.

After 3 month; I saw my neurosurgeon for consultation. I made him aware of the persistence problem following the operation. He advised physiotherapy.

The Met OH arranged for me to have the physiotherapy under the guidance of Gauthier LEPOINT-a well repute in this field. Following my consultation with Gauthier; I began to have physiotherapy. Although acupuncture was not on the agenda; Gauthier advised this treatment along with physiotherapy. The combined therapy worked absolutely wonder. And within a few weeks; I began to notice marked improvement in my neck movement. And within couple of months I was able to recover 90% of my neck movement.

I humbly thank Gauthier for assisting me with his unique work on physiotherapy & acupuncture that enabled me to get back my normal movement of my neck so quickly.”

“I saw Gauthier after being involved in a major motorcycle accident and had big problems with my shoulder and thumb afterwards. I had restricted movement in my shoulder and weakness with my thumb and grip strength. Gauthier gave me a course of acupuncture and ultrasound which worked wonders. I was a bit sceptical about the benefits of acupuncture, and whether it would actually work, but I can honestly say the improvements are remarkable. After only one session of acupuncture I had increased movement in my shoulder, and after several more sessions I had full range of motion in my shoulder back, and had retained the strength in my hand. Gauthier has a pleasant nature to him and puts you at ease during sessions, and is very easy to talk to. I would highly recommend Gauthier!”

“Gauthier treated me for an impact injury to my hip.  He quickly identified how he could best assist me with my injury.  He employed a number of techniques including massage, acupuncture, stretching exercises, and strengthening exercises.  The strengthening exercises have been particularly effective. Building up the muscles around the joint has strengthened the injured area and I feel more confident in my movement.  Gauthier is extremely knowledgeable and professional and is friendly in his approach.  I would not hesitate to recommend him.”

Gauthier Lepoint succeeded where the NHS was unable to. Gauthier performed physio on my right leg, which I was unable to bend more than a few degrees after a surgical repair to my cruciate ligament. The injury was like cutting the string working a puppets leg and that leg had to be trained, even forced to work if it was ever going to be able to function effectively again. Enter Gauthier!

The physiotherapy I had received via the hospital was pretty ineffective and I was stuck with only a 15 degree maximum bend in my leg, which was pretty debilitating.

Thanks to Gauthier I now have a 115 degree bend in my leg, which is way above anything the hospital said I would ever be able to achieve and enables me to live a much more active life. I was told by the hospital that I may not progress much beyond 35 degree’s. When the hospital congratulated me on reaching a 95 degree bend it was thanks to the intensive physio that Gauthier had performed. At that point the hospital, “wrote me off,” and said that I could live a relatively normal life with a 95 degree leg bend ! True but it was still pretty debilitating, a “normal” bend is about 130 degrees and 95 was too far off. I accepted that due to medical complications, I would never be able to achieve full movement but Gauthier agreed that he could work my leg further and achieve more.

“Gauthier is a true professional, whilst maintaining a refreshingly friendly, open and honest approach, which made me feel confident in his treatment, ensuring that I felt encouraged, wanting to work with him to achieve the best improvement “we” could. The treatment was painful, Gauthier said it would be – but with my consent he took me where the hospital physio was not willing to go. In my case there would be, “no gain without pain,” but this was the difference between a very restricted life with what to me was a severe disability and the life I have now (thanks Gauthier). He worked on my “wacky” walk and I can now appear relatively normal in my gait. I am able to climb up and down stairs and no one but I would know that it will always be with some discomfort but being able to do it at all is thanks to the physiotherapy of Gauthier.

I highly recommend Gauthier as a physiotherapist who will take you as far as your body and determination will allow him to. His personality and professionalism instil confidence for a patient to go (safely) that much further to achieve the most they can. He made me feel that we were working together rather than just being worked on by someone else. If you have an injury, join “Team Gauthier,” work with him and I hope that you achieve the maximum possible improvement, as I did.”

“I had lost faith in the medical system until I was treated by Gauthier. He helped me recover from tennis elbow and to date, I am still pain free!”

“I am a police officer employed as a motorcycle trainer at the Driving School. Throughout the course of my work I have received numerous injuries and have had more than enough surgery. I have had countless bouts of post accident/ surgery physiotherapy including a stay at the Police Convalescent Home last year. All of this has been of benefit but none of it can compare remotely with the treatment I have received from Gauthier.

One example was when I parted company with a motorcycle 18 months ago and received considerable problems with my neck/ shoulder as a result. I managed to arrange treatment with Gauthier whom I had been strongly recommended to see by other extremely satisfied patients. In my opinion, Gauthier’s diagnosis, treatment and manner were exemplary, which I feel reflects his wealth of knowledge and professionalism. As a result I was back to full duties very quickly and have experienced no further effects, which is a huge bonus as I retire next year.

I would therefore like to offer my sincere thanks to him and hope that, as much as I sing his praises, I don’t need to see him in his professional capacity again.”

“Three months ago I was in extreme pain from two spinal conditions, but after expert treatment from Gauthier Lepoint I am massively improved and getting on with life again. When you live with pain it is virtually important to get the right treatment from the right therapist and I could not recommend Mr Lepoint highly enough.”

“I had been suffering with severe upper limb disorder for about 6 months. I had severe pain in my fingers and in both hands and arms. I was unable to undo buttons or claps, I was not able to hold a knife and fork at one point and I was very scared I would lose my job. I was referred to Gauthier who gave me physiotherapy to alleviate my symptoms. As well as physiotherapy Gauthier gave me advice as to how to manage my condition and a regular exercise programme to keep my hands in motion. I can now function normally, with care. This would not have been possibly if it wasn’t for Gauthier’s professional experience and determination to get me better. I truly thank him for everything he has done for me.”
